Social and Play Skills Groups
What sets our program apart?
Our "ABLE Allstar” Social and Play Skills groups are open to children of all abilities.
We currently provide four cohort options, each with a specific student-to-staff ratio and instructional approach that is designed to best support all of our learners. Read more about our cohorts here.
Classes are run by Masters level professionals, including a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Speech Language Pathologist.
Theme-based classes allow for students to learn new social and play skills in the context of their own interests, making learning both enjoyABLE and accessABLE. Learning is much more fun when you get to play with your friends in activities you love! (Themes are below)

Themed-Class Options
All Things Building and Transportation
This class is for children who love to build and create. Using a variety of toys and materials, such as magnatiles, train tracks, bridges, and tunnels, your child will not only be ABLE to play with what they love, but learn while doing so.
Arts and Crafts
This class is designed for learners who like to draw, color, craft, paint... and maybe get a little messy too! Using a variety of mediums, learners have the opportunity to create a masterpiece while they learn.
Sensory-Friendly Class
While all of our ABLEities classes are designed with the diverse needs and ABLEities of learners in mind, this class is ideal for those who may become easily overwhelmed by the sensory experiences in their environment.
With a small, 2:1 student-to-teacher ratio (maximum of four students and two teachers), learners can experience our play groups in a more structured setting.
This class is also ideal for students who utilize AAC devices to communicate, as teachers can facilitate communication and interaction between students.
Music and Reading
Our Music and Reading class is designed for learners who love music, songs, and read-aloud stories. Through a variety of songs, nursery rhymes, and interactive read-alouds, learners are engaged and practice important skills such as joint attention, eye contact, and working memory.
Sports and Movement
This class is perfect for our active learners who enjoy running, jumping, climbing, dancing, music and sports. Through a variety of kinesthetic, movement-based activities, children will be actively engaged, having fun, and learning how to do so with others.
